The Conference
gives two awards, plus two runners-up, at the Awards
Banquet. The awards are for the “Best Essay” and the “Outstanding
Student”. We have a panel of judges that read and evaluate all the
essays, and they come up with the top ten, and from there down to
the top three.
The
following factors are used in the judging for the Outstanding Student:
- Essay
- Dress
Code Compliance (Dress Code will be mailed with the welcome letter
when you are accepted).
- Decorum
- Attitude
- Participation
- Leads
